When the Light Is Terrible
We had a wet and less than light-filled spring this year. Most of the shots I took are flat and lifeless. A few I improved with CS3 work but I prefer to do minimal alterations on the computer and try for the best in-camera image. Here's a photograph taken outside at the National Museum of the American Indian on a cold wet Sunday morning. A little sun was beginning to shine through making the wet surfaces hard to expose but not giving enough light to anything else.I'm wondering if you had a similar spring and what your thoughts are about shooting when the light isn't very good and you can't hang around waiting for it to get better.
